There's no apparent way to convert to HD nor does there seem to be any way to convert to more than 2 audio channels (stereo). If you're hoping this will allow you to edit video clips...forget it. Look at the PREMIUM version for that. This is just a basic DVD ripper with a small handful of bells and whistles. Not so sure its worth the $35 but beats NERO's prices!
