DU Meter really helped me fine tune my internet connection and helps me keep my ISP honest. When my connection gets flakey DU Meter is right there letting me know!

Identifies bandwidth usage.

This software’s first impression is a small semi-transparent window that shows the Download and Upload traffic in kB/sec. The traffic is displayed in numbers as well as a color-coded running bar graph. You would really want to have this program running in the background or kept at one corner of your desktop. Right click, select Options and you have a host of settings to customize this utility.

“DU Meter” keeps logging the download/upload traffic and makes it available for you as Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports. It also displays projected daily traffic and traffic since the current date. These logs really help you to know your internet usage.

A nifty feature of “DU Meter” is the Stopwatch. Multiple stopwatches can be opened and used to log the download/upload traffic between specific intervals. This feature is quite important when you want to know the amount of traffic generated when a link is clicked and the time taken by the webpage to load.

I''ve been using DU Meter now for less than 24 hours and already my desktop feels ''naked'' without it. Gone are the days of wondering what is happen when trying to pull up a webpage or download a file... now I know exactly what is happen. This is the best utility of its type anywhere!
